About the role

As a junior Virtual Accountant, your daily tasks involve monitoring and managing customer files.

Your daily tasks

• Monitor customer files
• Check sales invoices & daily revenues
• Check & register (AI-generated) journal entries
• Check & register financial transactions
• Prepare month-end & year-end closings
• Report daily operations to management or supervisor(s)

What we’re looking for

• Recent graduate
• Bacherlor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax & Finance or any other related field
• Very high fluency in English
• Knowledge of Dutch (Nederlands) is a plus, but not necessary
• Attention to detail
• Critical & analytical thinking
• Understanding the concepts & fundamentals of accounting (GAAP) & financial reporting
• Understanding the concepts of VAT & income taxes
• Tech-savvy
• Strong sense of confidentiality, cyber security & protection of sensitive data
• Ambitious & open for feedback
• Eager to learn new things & actively seek improvement
• Interest in obtaining SCAAK certifications is a plus
