About the role

As a junior Virtual Accountant, your daily tasks involve monitoring customer files and recording AI-generated invoice registrations and financial transactions as draft entries.

Your daily tasks

• Monitor customer files
• Check & register AI-generated invoice registrations (as draft entries)
• Check & register financial transactions (as draft entries)
• Prepare contracts & documents
• Monitor bank synchronizations & renewal deadlines
• Report daily operations to management or supervisor(s)

What we’re looking for

• Recent graduate
• Bacherlor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related field
• Very high fluency in English
• Knowledge of Dutch (Nederlands) is a plus, but not necessary
• Attention to detail & critical thinking
• Understanding the concepts & fundamentals of accounting (GAAP) & financial reporting
• Understanding the concepts of VAT & income taxes
• Tech-savvy
• Strong sense of confidentiality, cyber security & protection of sensitive data
• Ambitious & open for feedback
• Eager to learn new things & actively seek improvement
• Interest in obtaining SCAAK or IKAF certifications is a plus
