Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective internal controls. This role involves managing the accounting team, preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Maintain internal control systems and recommend improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
• Support CFO in financial strategy and decision-making.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring continuous development and high performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role (typically 3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
