About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Tech Leader to lead a highly skilled team in ensuring the dissemination of the responsibilities and the tasks are completed in a qualitative way and timely manner in developing and maintaining a critical application for vehicle production with zero-downtime deployment. This role requires strong expertise in Java EE, Spring Boot, and Angular, as well as proven leadership experience in driving technical excellence in a global, large-scale environment. The successful candidate will lead a tech team, oversee problem resolution, and ensure high system availability for 500,000 users worldwide. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and mentor a team of developers in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications. 
• Architect and oversee the development of Java-based applications. 
• Ensure seamless zero-downtime deployments and high availability in a mission-critical production environment. 
• Drive best practices for Java EE, Spring Boot, Angular, and REST/SOAP Web Services. 
• Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring effective integration using Atlassian Toolchain, Jenkins/Bamboo, Gogs, Nexus, SonarQube, and Liquibase. 
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring smooth project execution. 
• Collaborate with nearshore teams and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. 
• Optimize performance and scalability for worldwide availability. 
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and performance standards. 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years of experience out of 5, at least 3,5 years of experience as Teach Lead 
• Working in Agile Methodologies 
• Proven experience leading a tech team and overseeing problem resolution.
• Knowledge and experience in Java EE, Spring Boot, and Angular. 
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and REST web services. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, including Jenkins/Bamboo, Gogs, Nexus, SonarQube, and Liquibase. 
• Experience in mentoring developers and leading teams and ensuring quality delivery.  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment. 
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in International German Environment.  
• Great Command of English language / German desirable.
