We are looking for a talented and creative Social Video Script Writer Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and compelling scripts for a variety of social videos. Your words will bring our brand’s stories to life and captivate our target audience across various social platforms.

• Ensure that the content adheres to company policies, style, and tone by editing and writing accordingly.
• Conduct thorough research to gather information and insights on various topics related to the video content.
• Follow JOE’s guidelines, style, and tone while incorporating music, dialogues, graphics, and effects into videos.
• Proofread to identify and rectify spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging video formats to continuously enhance the effectiveness of our video content.

Skills and experience we’d like you to have:

• Scriptwriting Profciency: Candidates should possess profciency in scriptwriting for various media formats.
• Creative Writing: Strong creative writing skills are essential for developing engaging and original content.
• Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and effectively conveying the emotions of characters in the script is important for creating relatable and believable stories.
• Storytelling Skills: We seek candidates with the ability to craft compelling narratives that captivate audiences, demonstrating an understanding of story structure, character development, and plot dynamics
• Impeccable grammar and punctuation skills
• Organisational skills – calm under pressure and good at planning ahead
• Able to move quickly and easily, embracing and responding to change
• Attention to detail
• Self starter who proactively plans content
• Ability to use initiative and make effective decisions
• Knowledge of media policies, including copyright and consent, and ethical considerations, is also desirable
