REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: Study on “Quantification of capacity building for civil society in Kosovo”

Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) is an independent, not-for-profit organization focused in supporting local civil initiatives leading to a strong civil society movement that will promote a democratic culture and will be responsive to the socio-economic needs of Kosovo, with a strong focus on supporting and contributing to the European Union Integration Process.

Kosovo Resource Centre for Civil Society’ is a project co-funded by the European Union (EU) and Sweden, implemented by Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM). The main objective of this project is to improve the capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSO) in Kosovo to help them become active contributors and supervisors of participatory democracy in the path of Kosovo towards European Union integration.

In the framework of this project, the Center aims to develop a quantitative study which aims to make a quantitative analysis of capacity building of civil society in Kosovo.

So far, various programs within the EU National Resource Center – Phase I, KCSF have provided various capacity building trainings for civil society, but there is no quantitative study of these offered trainings. There are various professional reports on the capacity development needs of the civil society sector that are constantly updated. Most of these reports provide only qualitative data on the capacity building needs of civil society.

In this regard, based on these reports, a quantitative study will be conducted with data from all providers of capacity building training for CSOs in Kosovo in recent years. In addition to providing valuable information for the implementation of this project action and other similar interventions, this study will also serve as a baseline study for this project.
