About the job:

A Release Manager is a key figure in the software development lifecycle responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases. Their primary goal is to ensure that software products or updates are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to end-users. Here’s an overview of the job responsibilities and skills required for a Release Manager:

Responsibilities:

• Planning of software releases for individual applications, coordination of necessary activities and involved parties
• Preparation and leadership of PI plannings
• Coordination of software releases between multiple applications with regard to dependencies
• Documentation of release contents in close cooperation with the development teams
• Communication related to the releases to relevant stakeholders
• Close coordination with test management and development teams regarding application-wide features, to schedule them in a timely manner into further test stages or into a release
• Ensuring compliance with processes in the involved development teams
• Optimization of the release and deployment process including the mapping in Atlassian Jira
• Consultation regarding the branching and test strategy

Requirements:
