Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our wholesale business by creating and maintaining new accounts. You will be responsible for driving growth through strategic relationship building and fostering long-term partnerships within the affordable fashion industry. Your primary focus will be on identifying and securing new business opportunities, ensuring the brands under our umbrella continue to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive regional marketing strategies that align with brand objectives and support overall business goals.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels, in alignment with Ted Baker and Brooks Brothers’ brand guidelines.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Campaign Management: Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital, print, events, and in-store promotions, ensuring they are executed effectively and on budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, merchandising, and e-commerce, to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Influencer Partnerships: Identify and establish relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI, making data-driven decisions to optimize future initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.
- Brand Advocacy:
- Represent the brands within our portfolio at industry events, trade shows, and meetings.
- Ensure that brand values and positioning are communicated effectively to all partners and customers.
- Champion the brands internally and externally, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing management, preferably in the fashion or luxury goods industry.
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and brand management.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media, and influencer marketing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
