We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and adaptable Quality Assurance Team Lead to join our team in the Prishtina office. The QA Team Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware and software products adhere to the highest standards and are never compromised. This position owns the overall product quality outcomes, as well as leading the team of QA engineers, developing and implementing testing strategies, establishing and tracking metrics, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver superior products to our clients 

Our ideal candidate must have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role. 
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
  • Experience with both hardware and software testing. 
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Cypress, ReadyAPI, TestRail, JIRA. 
  • Excellent ability to identify risks, issues, and potential defects in all aspects of the software and hardware stack. 
  • Familiarity with multi-tier web applications using frameworks such as ASP.NET Core and Angular. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Knowledge of automated build systems (CI/CD) such as TeamCity. 
  • Experience working with Customer Support teams to troubleshoot and recreate customer issues. 
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Hold the bar on all quality releases, and measure team performance based on overall quality. Hold Engineering accountable for incoming quality. 
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the team’s success. 
  • Plan Sprints and evaluate the spread of tasks among the team. 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans for both hardware and software products. 
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design appropriate test plans. 
  • Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Create, track and report on QA metrics, such as defect density, open defect count, defect aging, escaped defects, etc. to measure and improve product quality. 
  • Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on QA activities and product quality.
