Job Title: Quality Analyst

Length: Set to conclude at the end of June (timeframe may change during the semester)

About the Role: We are currently looking for a dedicated Quality Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be a champion of our software development quality process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include writing and executing test cases, maintaining project boards, ensuring user stories are well-defined with clear acceptance criteria, creating and tracking bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and Product Owners.

Responsibilities:

• Advocate for and uphold high standards in the software development quality process.
• Write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases.
• Ensure project boards are up-to-date and accurately reflect the current state of projects.
• Assist in writing well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Create, track, and manage bugs effectively, aligning with developers for timely resolutions.
• Work closely with Product Owners to understand product requirements and ensure they are accurately tested.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role in software development.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools Azure Devops.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
