QA Automation Engineer (Junior/Mid-Level) 

Role Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, working closely with development teams to identify testing needs and streamline the testing process. Your expertise in continuous integration tools like Jenkins will be essential for integrating automated tests into the development pipeline, ensuring rapid feedback and efficient deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
• Configure and manage Jenkins pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Implement reporting tools to generate detailed test reports and metrics.
• Collaborate with development teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test failures and CI/CD processes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.
• Assist in manual testing when needed to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Proficient in JavaScript: Strong experience in writing and maintaining test scripts using Cypress, with a solid understanding of web technologies.
• Automation Testing Experience: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement automated testing frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Basic Jenkins Skills: Understanding of Jenkins fundamentals, including setting up jobs, configuring build pipelines, and integrating automated tests. Familiarity with managing plugins and using Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.
• Basic Docker Skills: Understanding of Docker concepts for creating and managing containerized environments, facilitating consistent testing setups.
• Manual Testing Skills: Experience in manual testing processes, including creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.
• Issue Tracking with Jira: Proficient in testing and validating tickets in Jira, ensuring accurate tracking of bugs and enhancements.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues effectively, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working closely with development and QA teams.
• Adaptability and Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to embrace new tools and technologies to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
