Butler Hospitality in Kosovo is part of the Butler Hospitality Corporation in New York. The team offers technical support to the company’s operations contributing to the overall aim of the company, which is for guests to have a digitalized hospitality experience. The ambitious team consists of Software Developers, QA Engineers, Designers, Customer Service, Operations and Accounting.
THE ROLE
Butler is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support the daily functions of the Purchasing team as our footprint expands in current and new markets.
The purchasing coordinator will act as the super user for our inventory management system, ensuring accuracy of the data it holds and enabling the team to efficiently manage food costs across all Butler’s operations.
WORKING SCHEDULE: 2 pm – 10 pm Kosovo time
TYPE: Full time
LOCATION: Prishtinë
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate recipe and purchasing data in our inventory management system.
- Work with the culinary team to collect yield and recipe information for new R&D recipes.
- Maintain accurate order guides for hub teams.
- Support hubs with placing orders for food, packaging and beverages ensuring all ingredients are of correct spec as dictated by the Purchasing manager/director.
- Act as point of contact between LiveOps & Purchasing. Respond to all queries from hub teams as it relates to purchasing.
- Produce weekly reports for the broader F&B team to monitor ingredient price changes, ingredient waste and hub & enterprise level cogs performance.
- Monitor hub inventory value ensuring par levels are set and orders placed accordingly. Coach hub teams on using inventory management system.
- Set up accounts for new hub openings in a timely manner for all vendors.
- Support purchasing team with maintaining trackers, menu price lists, contact lists etc.
Required experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1 year experience in related food/beverage purchasing role
- Experience working with recipe and inventory management systems highly advantageous (eg. Crunchtime, Yellow Dog, Margin Edge, xtra Chef, Market Man, Restaurant 365 etc)
- Detail oriented with excellent organization skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and solve problems
- Good communicator both written and verbal
