InterAdria is looking for a Network Engineer to develop and maintain functional and secure networks. You will be part of excellent engineers team and help them design, implement, troubleshoot and optimize networks for our clients. In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture.

Your goal will be to establish networks that fit to customer demands and needs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Report to the head of department;
• Design, deploy and implement functional networks infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN);
• Configure network devices including Routers, Firewalls and Switches (Cisco and others) – preferably VoIP Platforms;
• Design, deploy and implement security network infrastructure (DMVPN, IPsec, Remote access VPN);
• Configure network-based intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and access lists, URL filtering and other Firewall related features;
• Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment;
• Monitor network performance and integrity;
• Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting local and remote Infrastructure;
• Analyses, identifies, and resolves network infrastructure operational issues related to VPN, Voice and data communication;
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness;
• Maintain contact with business users to proactively identify and communicate changes and solutions;
• Cooperate with team members on technical issues;
• Create, oversee and test security measures;
• Continuously documents network infrastructure and changes affecting it;
• Develops and documents network infrastructure models, diagrams, processes and procedures, as well as development and composition of new concepts, architectures and solutions;
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability;
• Studies vendor products to determine which best meet clients need;

Requirements

• Industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator;
• Minimum 2 years overall experience with Cisco Network Solutions;
• A degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent working experience is desirable;
• Professional certification with minimum CCNA Enterprise as mandatory requirement (CCNP Desirable);
• Advanced skills in planning, designing and troubleshooting complex network environments;
• Solid background in network administration and architecture;
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP), routing protocols (EIGRP,BGP, OSPF) and switching protocols as Trunking, VLANs, L2, L3, QoS;
• Knowledge of security network devices (firewalls, switches, router, etc.) and other security networking hardware/software tools;
• Knowledge of various perimeter security solutions technologies in the data center and branch office environments including firewalls, remote access VPNs, IPS/IDS systems;
• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating and supporting the network security with Cisco ASA Firewall, Firepower, FTD, FMC, Fortinet, and other security solutions;
• Strong troubleshooting experience of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls;
• Voice experience is an added advantage;
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (SolarWinds, PRTG network tools or similar);
• Ability to work independently and on group;
• Organizational skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong ability to document processes, procedures and network designs clearly and accurately for distribution to internal teams and customers;
• Good problem resolution, analytical and decision-making skill;
• Fluent written and verbal English skills (German language preferred);
• Ability to travel abroad for presentation and integration in EU Countries;
