Chemonics International seeks middle to senior-level specialists for an anticipated USAID/Kosovo Community Cooperation Activity. The activity will aim to change the attitudes and behaviors of individuals and institutions to build consensus around a shared future in a multiethnic state. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
We are recruiting for middle to senior level experts with experience in the following areas:
- Community engagement and mobilization
- Public participation
- Civic engagement and dialogue
- Youth engagement and advocacy
- Municipal development
- Social and behavior change
- Gender equality and social inclusion
We are also recruiting for middle to senior-level program operations specialists with experience in the following areas:
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
- Human resources and operations
- Donor-funded project financial management and accounting
- Grants, subcontracts, procurement management
- Strategic communications
Illustrative qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience public administration, international relations, development, law or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience in civic engagement and dialogue, community engagement and mobilization, municipal development or other related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with government counterparts, civil society organizations and local media.
- Experience with USAID and other donor projects preferred
- Strong experience in capacity development, training, and mentoring.
- Experience with procurement procedures, small grants management, and office operations while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in English required; fluency in Albanian and/or Serbian required.
