Middle School and High School Social Studies Teacher 

(Focus on History & Geography)

The American School of Kosova is seeking a passionate full-time Middle School and High School Social Studies Teacher (Focus on History & Geography).

Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging, focused lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative classroom environment.
• Use targeted assessments and feedback to track and support student progress.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and committees.

Requirements:

• BA/MA in History, Geography, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or educational pedagogy certification.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (international setting preferred).
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative mindset and empathy for student development.
