The role is in the automotive industry, focused on the automated detection of manipulations in vehicle control units. The system deciphers incoming ECU (Electronic Control Unit) data to identify unauthorized changes. The solution is used globally across workshops and processes over 100,000 requests daily. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Design and implement scalable backend solutions in Java EE for automotive applications. 
• Maintain and enhance existing systems based on Primefaces, JSF, and WAS Liberty. 
• Integrate with SOAP web services and Oracle databases. 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps, PMs) using Kanban methodology. 
• Ensure code quality with tools like SonarQube and participate in code reviews. 
• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Git, IntelliJ, Docker, and Maven. 
• Interface with external systems such as Service42, OEM.IL, and CARPORT 

Must-Have Skills 

• Education of Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development and the required technologies
• Strong experience with Java EE, JSF, and backend frameworks 
• Knowledge of Primefaces, Lombok, and WAS Liberty 
• Familiarity with SOAP Web Services 
• Experience with Oracle DB or similar relational databases 
• Comfortable working in Agile/Kanban environments 
• Proficiency in using developer toolchains: Git, Docker, Maven, IntelliJ IDEA 
• Good understanding of CI/CD and tools like Atlassian Toolchain, SonarQube 
• Great Command of English Language/ German is a plus 

Nice to have 

Familiarity with large-scale data processing and performance optimization
