The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Fit for Jobs project is seeking to fill the position of:
Local Intern
The overall purpose of the assignment
The intern will mainly assist in implementing and rolling out the Learning Management System in the partner public schools in Kosovo. The intern will support the Fit for Jobs team in their activities that are related to digital platforms and more. The intern will also support the Monitoring and Evaluation team in data verification and entry into the system.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Assisting in the implementation of a sustainable learning platform (Moodle) for “Work Based Learning” (WBL) in close cooperation with the project lead in the activity and other GIZ projects and the GFA consulting group,
- Assisting with and supporting the Monitoring and Evaluation team with data entry,
- Assisting in the implementation of trainings on digital literacy for Continues Vocational Education Training (CVET) and Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) teachers,
- Assisting in the coordination and communication with consultants and partner organizations,
- Assisting in organizing and participating in meetings, workshops, study visits, and capacity development measures as scheduled by the project,
- Assisting in facilitating and documenting workshops, seminars, and other meetings with stakeholders at all levels,
- Performing other duties and tasks at the request of project leaders and advisors.
Required qualifications, competencies and experience
Qualifications
- Student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer sciences, or a related field.
Experience
- Initial experience (internship or similar) in the related area, would be an advantage.
Other knowledge, additional competences
- First experiences with Content Management Systems
- First experience with software development or IT infrastructure is an advantage
- Being familiarized with basic web programming languages like (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Very good knowledge of English
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Good communication and presentation skills.

April 2023
Duration:
The internship will last 6 months.
This is a full-time internship (8 hrs per day, 40 hrs per week)
