International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M)

Position Title:            IT Professors (3) (full time)

The International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M) is a teaching institution for students at 18+ which offers internationally recognised diplomas in Masters and 3½ years Bachelor degrees in the fields of Marketing and Management, International Sales and Marketing, Public Administration, Public Service Management and Environmental and Agricultural Management. Delivering top class teaching to the highest European standards, the IBC-M is also characterised by its application-oriented approach, which ensures that its graduates hold a qualification that is relevant to the rapidly developing regional job market. Full-time vacancies are available starting in September 2020 for IT Professors (3) in the following fields:

– Information Technologies

– IT in Management

– Digital Medial Design Technology

Required qualifications for Module 1: Information technologies

The professor for the Module 1 of the study program of the Information technologies must have Master (PhD preferred) Degree in area of Computing Science and Informatics and published papers with impact factor. Also, teacher must have realized projects in the area, as well as skills in designing information systems, programming, development of applications and etc.

Required qualifications for Module 2: IT in Management
The professor for the Module 2 of the study program of the Information technologies must have Master (PhD preferred) degree in area of Computing Science and Informatics or Management or similar areas, as well as realized projects in the area. The skills in usage of software management tools, and e-business tools is a plus.

Required qualifications for Module 3: Digital Media Design Technology
The professor for the Module 3 of the study program of the Information technologies must have Master (PhD preferred) degree in area of multimedia, digital design or similar, as well as realized projects in the area. The skills in usage of software’s for photo, audio and video editing is plus.

Other requirements and skills for all 3 positions:

• Experience in preparing and delivering lessons and/or training, preferably in a college or university environment
• Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
• Relevant practical work experience, preferably a minimum of five years at mid-senior level
• Candidates who have completed Masters and PhD studies abroad must also provide evidence of their diploma verification by MEST Kosovo

Tasks and responsibilities include:

– Prepare and conduct classes for selected subjects above.

– Contribute to the developing of curricula and syllabi in cooperation with the international partners of the IBC-M;

– Prepare and conduct training courses for professionals;

– Contribute to the regional and international networking activities of the IBC-M;
