Position: Grants Specialist (Freelancer)

Overview:

KosovaJob, the #1 employment platform in Kosovo with around 1 million job searchers each month, is looking to hire an experienced and enthusiastic Grants Specialist (m/f) who will support our plans to increase our influence in the field of employment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources relevant to our organization’s goals and priorities;
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals and grant applications;
• Build and maintain relationships with funders and partners;
• Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, managing timelines, and monitoring progress;
• Monitoring and Reporting; Tracking project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed;
• Providing regular updates and reports to the supervisor;
• Evaluate grant opportunities to determine alignment with our organization’s mission and objectives, as well as eligibility criteria and requirements;
• Stay informed about trends, developments, and best practices in grant research, fundraising, and donor relations.

Qualifications::

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Master’s degree preferred;
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in grant research, proposal writing, and fundraising;
• Strong research skills with the ability to identify relevant funding opportunities and trend;
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively;
• Fluent in English is a must (other languages would be an asset);
• Ability to write and understand project requirements.
