Responsibilities:

  • Management of the company’s entire accounting and finances, as well as general operations and administration;
  • Performs bookkeeping documentation, proper recording and allocation of labor costs;
  • Prepares weekly, monthly and annual financial reports for management and company owners;
  • Maintains proper bookkeeping;
  • Communicates with institutions and partners at the local and international level (external auditors, banks, suppliers, customers);
  • Reviews bookkeeping, prepares payments, sends cash flow to the company;
  • Checks the creditworthiness and determines the client’s credit limit;
  • Preparation of monthly VAT calculations;
  • Prepare the annual calculated income tax;
  • Preparation and delivery of the final invoice;
  • Complete preparation and processing of salaries, including sending reports to appropriate institutions;
  • Actively participates in the improvement of the company’s administrative processes;
  • Performs internal reporting;
  • Submits various legally prescribed reports;
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards;
  • Cooperation and active management of annual activities with audit firms;
  • Coordination with all external tax controls;
  • Bookkeeping and control of all financial and material transactions with goods with knowledge of duties related to customs warehouse;
  • Registration and control of VAT obligations and preparation of VAT returns;
  • Making salaries for employees.
  • Active participation in the preparation of financial, accounting and tax reports for competent institutions;

Qualifications:

  • At least VSC Faculty of Economics or other relevant higher education;
  • At least two years of work experience in the same or similar position, preferably in an international company;
  • To have a certificate as a Certified Accountant
  • Good knowledge of tax legislation;
  • Active knowledge of the English language;
  • Knowledge of the Croatian language is desirable;
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs (excellent knowledge of MS Excel);
  • Preferred knowledge of the SAP system;
  • Responsibility, accuracy, reliability and consistency;
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
