About the job:

A DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in the software development process by bridging the gap between development and operations teams, focusing on automating and streamlining the deployment and infrastructure processes. Here’s an overview of the job responsibilities and skills required for a DevOps Engineer:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tools and processes for the deployment and management of applications and infrastructures 
• Collaboration with the development team to ensure that applications are secure, reliable, and scalable 
• Monitoring the infrastructure and proactivity in fixing errors and problems 
• Continuous improvement and optimization of development and operational processes 
• Support in the planning and execution of releases 
• Ensuring security, scalability, and high availability of applications and infrastructures 
• Smaller development tasks 
• Application documentation 

Requirements:

• Experience as a DevOps-Engineer 
• Knowledge in 
1. Programming languages and frameworks 
1. Java, PHP, Angular, AngularJS, Springboot, Spring, Apache Wicket 
2. Data base management systems 
1. Firebird, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB 
3. Infrastructure 
1. Tomcat, Docker, grafana, Linux/Unix 
• Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence 
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools like gitlab/GitHub 
• Experience with Monitoring/logging
