Project brief:

The overall objective of the program is to jointly contribute to environmentally friendly, hygien-ically safe and sustainable wastewater management, in line with the national wastewater and resource protection strategy, while fostering alignment with EU Standards, thereby contrib-uting to sustainable urban development and climate adaptation. Key outputs will be the pro-vision of infrastructure and technical assistance to improve RWCP´s performance.

The programme will be funded by German Development Cooperation, with the German De-velopment Bank (KfW) as the financing agency and with grant funds from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), EU (IPA 2022) and by local contributions.
