Focus: Development of Sustainable Composite Materials

About the Project:
We are developing innovative, environmentally friendly composite materials for interior and architectural use. This research-oriented position focuses on plant-based and mineral-based binders in biodegradable material systems. The work involves formulation, small-scale production, and analysis of physical properties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and mix composite formulas using natural binders and fibers
• Conduct pressing and drying trials in laboratory settings
• Analyze strength, porosity, dimensional stability and material behavior
• Support in optimizing binder combinations and production methods
• Collaborate on prototyping and pre-production samples

Profile:

• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering (Kimi Inxhinierike), Material Chemistry, Biopolymer Engineering, or a related discipline
• Interest in sustainable materials and applied research
• Experience in lab work or composite systems preferred
• Independent and structured working style
• Albanian required; English or German preferred
