CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AND REQUIREMENTS – APRIL 2024

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
The 4-day training consisting of 5 modules and the certification will be conducted in English. Candidate should possess fluency in the English language.
Candidate should have experience/engagements in the area of management consulting

KEY FACTS:

• Certified Management Consultant – CMC® is a certification recognized globally by ISO
  17024:2012 conformed CMC Global
• The certificate is issued with an ISO code recognizing the profession of Management Consultant in more than 60 countries worldwide
• The CMC® designation is globally recognized as a symbol of excellenc in management consulting. It demonstrates to clients, employers, and peers that you possess a high level of competence, professionalism, and ethical standards in your consulting practice.
• Lecturers and Hearing Committee members of the program are Certified Management
  Consultants – CMC©. The content control and quality assurance of the concept transfer
  will be done by BCC

PROGRAM TRAINING CONTENT:

MODULE 5: Managing a Consulting Firm

MENTORING SESSIONS:

• Each CMC© candidate will have an assigned assessor to discuss their case study selection
  throughout the mentoring sessions.
• The candidate will have discussions with a mentor who is a CMC© certified expert regarding the technical aspects of the preparation of documentation and the selection of the case study by the candidate.
• The mentor will read and review the draft case study sent by the candidate and provide
  inputs and comments in writing.
• The candidate and the mentor will fill out the Mentor Agreement and the mentor will
  provide the Mentor report after the wrap-up of the documents by the candidate.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION HEARING

• 1 Long Case Study from the consulting/working experience, not older than 3 years,
  from the specific field of specialization, with the candidate’s preference. The case
  study will be presented in front of the Hearing Commission. Candidates should
  possess fluency in the English language and be able to present their documentation
  during the certification hearing process.

PROCEDURES OF CERTIFICATION:

The Certification follows a two-step process:

Step 1: Examination of the formal eligibility criteria
(Certification documents to be submitted in writing)

Step 2: Expert discussion in front of the Commission

Each participant must prepare 1 example/case study from his consulting/work experience not older than 3 years in his field of expertise and present one of them at the certification hearing. The certified person receives the Certificate after successful completion of the procedure as well as the right to use this Certificate as a Person for a period of 3 years.
Re-certification after 3 years.
