Your role

Monolith or (Micro) Service are topics you always have in mind? We offer responsibility and autonomy in an agile team between Product Owner, Scrum Master and other developers. The PHP Developer is the excellent brain behind our online shopping platform and drives our

strategy to create the best platform for our products. In order to present all our products in an excellent environment, we need you to further develop a state-of-the-art online shopping platform. Then you are exactly right with us!

You will

• Development of the basis for the next generation
• Support in the design and development of high availability and
• scalable systems
• Defining the architecture vision and strategy for the online shopping platform at our customer and its subsidiaries
• Develop new features with the team within an agile development environment
• Implement best practices to write very readable codes
• Assessment and testing of technology trends
• Process and performance optimization

What you bring to the table

• 2-5 years of professional experience in the field of agile software development
• A degree in IT is a plus
• Excellent knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby, Go)
• Good knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Good knowledge of the development of scalable and highly available micro services
• Good knowledge of at least one framework (Laravel, Lumen, Symfony)
• Good Git skills
• Basic knowledge of task/message queues such as Celery and RabbitMQ
• Independent and structured work, teamwork and a strong communication skills
• Knowledge of tools like Docker, Vagrant, ELK and AWS/ gcloud
• High quality awareness (TDD, BDD, unittesting)
• Experience with Magento is a plus
