We are hiring
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our construction project teams in planning, coordinating, and overseeing tasks essential to project success. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and office staff to ensure all aspects of our construction projects are well-executed and documented.
The overall purpose of the post
The Assistant Project Manager will assist in the daily operations of ongoing projects, tracking progress, managing documentation, coordinating with subcontractors, and supporting budgeting and scheduling efforts. The ideal candidate will be organized, tech-savvy, and possess strong communication skills in ENGLISH. Previous experience in construction or project coordination is preferred.
Ultimately, a successful Assistant Project Manager will help ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and maintain high-quality standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and tracking. • Maintain consistent project documentation, primarily on the cloud via Dropbox. • Assist in scheduling subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections. • Track and update project schedules and progress logs.
- Help manage RFI, submittal, and change order processes.
- Assist in reviewing and submitting AIA billing documents.
- Support procurement by preparing and tracking purchase orders. • Coordinate with the administrative team to maintain updated project financials and logs.
- Assist in preparing and updating Master Project Sheets and status reports. • Help oversee field crew schedules and coordinate equipment or material deliveries.
- Attend and document project meetings as required.
- Support the preparation of project close-out documentation. • Perform other project-related tasks and administrative duties as assigned.
Required qualifications and skills
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager in construction is a plus
- Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and processes • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook • Experience with Dropbox, AIA documents, and project tracking tools • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment • High School diploma required; a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus
Location: PERENNIAL CONSTRUCTION GROUP – Arting, Rr. Tirana, Prishtine 10000 Expected start date: June 2025
Working hours for this position are from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
