Duties

He/she reports to the LGF Shift Leader (SL). In the absence of the SL, the ASL supervises 30-40 LGF personnel that are on duty during a given shift. LGF staff positions around the Embassy and at several off-site locations in support of Mission security. ASL assists the SL in ensuring that all security equipment is operational and all LGF personnel are familiar with LGF procedures and operations. The ASL may liaise directly with LGF leadership and/or with the Regional Security Office (RSO) in the SL’s absence. The ASL is tasked with keeping RSO informed regarding any security issues or incidents.
