About the job:

An Application Architect is a senior-level professional responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions and systems architecture that align with an organization’s business objectives and technical requirements. Here’s an overview of the job responsibilities and skills required for an Application Architect:

Responsibilities:

• Creation and expansion of application designs, especially with regard to the structure of the application and database as well as the integration into the IT landscape 
• Analysis of requirements coordination with application architects of other applications 
• Documentation of the application design 
• Coordination with solution architecture and enterprise architecture 
• Support of developers in the implementation 
• Support of error management as well as error analysis 
• Analysis of in-unit topics and business changes as well as creation of effort estimates 
• Support in the preparation of tests 

Requirements:

• At least five years of professional experience as an IT Application Architect, if possible with knowledge in 
1. Programming languages and frameworks 
1. Java, PHP, Angular, AngularJS, Springboot, Spring, Apache Wicket 
2. Database management systems 
1. Firebird, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB 
3. Infrastructure 
1. Tomcat, Docker 
• Experience in the area of APIs 
• Strong analytical thinking and independent work 
• Strong communication skills 
• ISAQB certification 
• Experience in working in agile teams 
• English language is required.
