ACCOUNTS/PAYROLL ASSISTANT
- Preparing weekly contractor payroll circa 500 operatives from timesheets and importing this into software
- Using pay and bill software to raise weekly invoices from above
- Generating payslips for Ltd Companies
- Dealing with invoice queries in a timely manner
- Dealing with payment queries from operatives and making sure their self-bill remittance/pay slip have gone out correctly.
- Running monthly CIS reports from the software
- Reconciliation of report totals back to payroll
- Reporting to management on late/missing timesheets and chasing these through prescribed routes and processes.
- General Admin duties
Skills
- Use of Excel essential
- Good telephone manner
- Must be very diligent as this is the operatives weekly pay so needs to be correct
- Good interpersonal skills
- Applying for credit limits, sending out account forms to be completed, opening accounts on Sage for new clients and maintaining them
- Check all limits with insurer against sage and maintain excel spreadsheet of limits applied for
- Maintain filing systems for credit limits and account forms
- Maintain weekly reports of account payments
- Maintain invoice tracker and filing
- Manage expense claim portal and report
- Previous experience on BPO-s.
- Sage Desirable
- Knowledge of Excel
