In connection with the expansion of the activity in Kosovo we are looking to hire an Accountant/Bookkeeper for our office in Prishtina:

Main characteristics of Accounting/Bookkeeper position:

Responsibilities:       

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
• Ensure that financial deadlines in respect of payments are met (especially to Tax & other governmental authorities).
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and annual statements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
• Assist in payroll processing and related tax filings.
• Organize and maintain financial records, receipts, and documents
• Stay up-to-date with accounting software and technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. 

Requirements: 

• Proven work experience as a bookkeeper/accountant or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Certificates in accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and reporting requirements.
