Production Manager

ITBM is a diverse global company delivering high-quality products and comprehensive support services to government and commercial clients worldwide. We are seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our production department. In this role, you will ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently, meet deadlines, and stay within budget. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Research & Development (R&D) and Design, to ensure new products transition smoothly from concept to production.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a passion for optimizing workflows and driving continuous improvements.

Location: Dobratin, Gracanice, Kosovo

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production activities to meet targets for quality, output, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to ensure new products are manufacturable and meet operational standards.
• Implement process optimization initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards across production lines.
• Manage and mentor production staff to foster a high-performance work environment.

Qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Design Engineering, or a related field. A background in design or exposure to the design process is preferred. 
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role, with preferred experience in working with R&D and Design teams on new product introductions. 
• Design Knowledge: Familiarity with design processes and principles, particularly in relation to manufacturability and product lifecycle management. Experience working with product designers to integrate design concepts into production workflows is highly desirable. 
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading production teams and improving operational performance. 
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and best practices in industrial operations. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. 
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment, especially in relation to new product launches and design integration. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, including R&D and Design. 
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with production management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
