The Affiliate Outreach Manager will be responsible for identifying lucrative products that resonate with market demand, securing unique affiliate deals, and integrating affiliate links into relevant content. Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Identify and analyze market trends to discover high-demand products that align with our audience’s interests.
- Outreach and Negotiation: Reach out to product owners, negotiate unique affiliate deals, and secure partnerships that provide value to both our platform and audience.
- Content Integration: Collaborate with the content team to seamlessly incorporate affiliate links into relevant articles, ensuring they add value and align with the content’s purpose.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with affiliate partners to ensure ongoing collaboration and optimize affiliate opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of affiliate links and deals, adjusting strategies to maximize revenue and effectiveness.
- Inbox Management: Efficiently manage outreach communications, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups to secure affiliate deals.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to develop strategies for promoting affiliate products in a way that enhances user experience and drives conversions.
Skills Required:
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all communications and content integration.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate favorable terms with affiliate partners, balancing the interests of our platform and the needs of our audience.
- Basic SEO Understanding: Familiarity with SEO principles, particularly as they relate to affiliate marketing and link placement.
- Content Strategy: Understanding of how to effectively integrate affiliate links into content without compromising its quality or intent.
- Google Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and other Google Suite products for efficient project management.
- Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, working quickly and effectively in a remote environment.
- Independence: Capable of working independently, managing time and tasks with minimal supervision.
Bonus Skills:
- Affiliate Marketing Tools: Experience with platforms like ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, or other affiliate marketing tools.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze performance data and derive insights to optimize affiliate strategies.
- Experience in Digital Marketing: Previous experience in digital marketing, particularly within an affiliate marketing context.
- Content Management Systems: Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress for seamless affiliate link integration.
- E-commerce Knowledge: Understanding of e-commerce trends and product lifecycle to better identify affiliate opportunities.
Assessment and Probationary Period:
Candidates will undergo an initial assessment to evaluate their suitability for the role. A 1-month probationary period will follow, during which performance will be closely monitored to ensure a good fit with the team and the responsibilities of the role.
