PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Training & Development Coordinator aims to provide strategic focus by developing and implementing great training tools. He/she will develop a Training Strategy which ensures conveying FPBS Prishtina’s service culture to all hotel employees, which is engaging, which is easy to absorb, and which is part of the daily operation to make sure the training program directly contributes to service excellence.
The Training & Development Coordinator will train the staff including Department Heads and any other related people to implement the Training Strategy successfully.
The Training & Development Coordinator will plan and coordinate the training activities and monitor trainings when possible and give feedback to the related Trainers (Department Heads and other trainers) on how to improve effectiveness of the training. The Training & Development will decide on the necessary tools to measure the effectiveness of the Trainings and monitor effectiveness on continuous basis.
The Training & Development Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the service quality standards of hotel operations including but not limited to its training quality and staff service quality by continuously aiming to improve the service standards. The Training & Development Coordinator will support HR Manager and Department Heads for any initiatives to support employee engagement, taking into consideration that engaged employees lead to improved guest service.
Other duties:
- Participate to any mandatory trainings / meetings implemented by the management team.
- Present positive attitude and good cooperation with his/her collegues.
- Adhere to Fire, Health & Safety regulations of the hotel.
- Responsible for correct and safe use of the equipment in his/her department.
- Maintain neat and clean attire in line with Access grooming standards.
- Undertake other responsibilities assigned by his/her manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: University Graduate, preferably Business Administration, HR Departments or related departments
Experience: Minimum 3 years at a similar position in HR Departments training oriented
Other Qualifications: Able to use MS Office programs as well as other HR programs, very good level of spoken and written English, result oriented person, skilled on time management, planning and organizing, pays attention to details, has good presentation skills, able to take decisions, skilled to solve problems, a good communicator, team player, has good knowledge of labour law, social secruity, basic employee rights, payroll and local legislation.
