Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Salary: 2.5k – 3.5k

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in software development. In this role, you will be responsible for advocating for the software development quality process, building automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Cypress, and writing comprehensive test cases. Your collaboration with Product Owners will be crucial to understand product requirements and ensure these are meticulously tested.

Technology Stack & Skills:

• Automation Tools: Robot Framework, Cypress
• CI/CD Integration: Experience with integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
• Bug Tracking: Azure Devops
• Version Control: Git
• Additional Skills: Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and security testing tools

Responsibilities:

• Advocate and implement best practices in software quality assurance.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Cypress.
• Create detailed, effective test plans and cases from product requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure thorough understanding and testing of product specifications.
• Integrate and manage test cases within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects effectively.
• Collaborate with software developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in testing tools and methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in the QA process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA engineering experience, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Robot Framework, Cypress, and integrating testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Skilled in writing comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Experience working with Product Owners and understanding detailed requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
