Role Description: QA Engineer – Prishtina, Kosovo  

 

Role Purpose: 

 

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. Also, review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. This role plays an important part in our company’s product development process.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing manual testing strategy, design, support, planning, and execution for a variety of applications. 
• Compose and maintain testing documentation on all application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to teams using JIRA. 
• Execute automated and manual testing of our web applications and APIs. 
• Prioritize and plan testing activities.

Requirements:

• BA Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or relevant work experience. 
• Proven work experience in software testing methodologies in an agile environment with Selenium, Databases, web service and API testing. 
• Ability to multitask, self-starter, and team player mindset as you work side by side with the development team.  
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and networking is needed. 
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus. 
• Knowledge of k8s, Ansible, and Terraform is a plus. 
• Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements.
