JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – ISLAMIC RELIEF KOSOVA
Islamic Relief is an international relief and development charity founded in 1984 with its headquarters in Birmingham, UK. Position: HR Officer
Location: Pristina
Working Hours: Full Time (08:00 – 16:00), Monday – Friday
Ref. no: IR/RKS – 10/2025
JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Officer to support the Human Resources Department in managing HR functions and administrative duties. The role requires a proactive individual who can effectively assist in recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance while ensuring smooth office operations. The job holder will work closely with the Senior HR Coordinator to implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational objectives.
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports to the Senior HR Coordinator
- Works closely with the Senior HR Coordinator
- Liaises at all levels with staff within the organization.
*JOB REQUIREMENT*
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
- Experience in the NGO sector (is an advantage)
- Relevant HR Trainings (is an advantage)
SKILLS
- Excellent word processing, excel and database skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Demonstrable administration and office management skills.
- Experience of setting up and maintaining management information and data retrieval systems.
- Experience of diary and correspondence management.
- Strong written communication skills necessary to draft letters, reports and other documentation.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills and excellent telephone manner.
KNOWLEDGE
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of English Language, Professional level (Obligatory)
- Knowledge and understanding of using relationship management database software.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Knowledge of HRIS and ATS (is an advantage)
ABILITIES
- Ability to manage day-to-day administrative and office management functions.
- Ability to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collate data and produce reports.
- Able to plan, prioritize, and deliver to tight timescales.
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team, without close supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, face-to-face, over the telephone, and in writing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Able to work methodically with good attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate a consistent approach to others with confidence and integrity.
