About the Role
Our client is a U.S. based leader in digital health company transforming employee well-being through science-backed programs that deliver measurable results. With a growing revenue base and a high-growth pipeline, the company is scaling fast and building its first-ever outbound SDR function to accelerate growth. As our client enters a pivotal phase of growth, the SDR Team Lead will play a critical role in launching and leading a brand-new outbound prospecting function. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader to set the tone, establish best practices, and directly contribute to pipeline generation while coaching a team of four SDRs toward success.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and manage a team of 4 SDRs focused on outbound lead generation to HR and benefits leaders
- Contribute personally to outbound prospecting with a daily activity target to help lead from the front
- Implement outreach cadences and messaging playbooks to drive meetings and qualified pipeline
- Monitor performance metrics and activity levels to ensure consistent output and improvement
- Provide coaching, call reviews, and real-time feedback to elevate SDR performance
- Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer, Sales leaders and AE team to align on pipeline goals and target accounts
- Own reporting for SDR team KPIs in Salesforce and help refine data-driven decision making
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SDR or outbound prospecting roles, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead capacity
- Proven track record of booking meetings through high-volume outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience in a startup or high-growth sales environment is a plus
- Health or benefits industry background is helpful but not required
- Hands-on mentality with a passion for coaching and contributing as an individual contributor
