As an Intermodal Dispatcher, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of container shipments. You’ll coordinate with drivers, customers, trucking companies, and internal teams to manage day-to-day operations and keep freight moving smoothly in the United States.

Position: Intermodal Dispatcher  

Work schedule: Monday to Friday (3 PM – 11 PM)

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Communicate with customers, ports, railroads and trucking companies to schedule pick-ups and deliveries of containers.
• Track movement of containers to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery.
• Resolve service issues, delays, and other transportation-related problems.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding delays, equipment issues, and paperwork.
• Work closely with account managers and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• Very good English – both written and spoken
• Prior experience in intermodal or transportation dispatching (strongly preferred)
• Proficiency with computer technology and ability to learn company-specific programs.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
