Position Title: Data Engineer – Metadata Systems Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and evolve a referential system of creators, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
• Develop and manage a robust metadata tagging system to classify and organize content efficiently.
• Integrate metadata systems with data flowing through the platform API to enhance data accessibility and usability.
• Manage and optimize the Google Cloud infrastructure, including BigQuery, Metabase, and Forrest admin tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data operations and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve existing systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery.
• Proficiency in using tools like Metabase and Forrest admin.
• Solid understanding of API integration and data flow management.
• Familiarity with metadata systems and tagging frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in digital media, content platforms, or creator-driven ecosystems.
• Familiarity with other cloud infrastructures or data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
