Job Overview:
As a PR Coordinator at Royal York Property Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the company’s public image. Your expertise in media relations, content creation, and strategic communication will drive brand awareness and engagement across various platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute PR campaigns that highlight our services and foster strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and clients.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Media Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and infuencers.
- Draft press releases, media kits, and public statements to promote key initiatives.
- Coordinate media interviews and press conferences to ensure positive coverage.
Content Creation:
- Develop engaging content for press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align PR content with brand messaging.
Strategic Campaigns:
- Plan and execute PR campaigns to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
- Monitor media coverage and report on campaign performance and effectiveness.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Manage crisis communications and develop response strategies when necessary.
Event Coordination:
- Organize and manage corporate events, including open houses and community initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal departments to support communication needs.
- Build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to promote trust and engagement.
Qualifcations:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in public relations or a similar role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Experience in real estate or property management is an asset.
