Customer Service Representative for UK E-Commerce Company – Remote Role – Part Time

NOTE: Fluency in writing English emails is crucial for this role.

Hi! We are a UK based eCommerce business (grow-gang.com). We sell online, through our website and Amazon, and also sell our products in shops across the UK.

Our customers are plant enthusiasts and indoor gardeners who use our grow lights for a variety of houseplants, tropical plants, and seedling growth. We created our business because we believe grow lights should not only be functional but also stylish enough to enhance living spaces. Our mission is to help everyone surround themselves with greenery, even in small flats without gardens and without much light.

You must have:

• A good internet connection
• Fluency in the English language (both spoken AND grammar)
• Be able to work Mon-Fri 2pm – 6pm Kosovo Time (We are open to adjusting these hours if needed.)
• Have at least 1 year experience in a customer service role
• Ideally we are looking for candidates that want to grow in the role, and stay with us long term

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing our customer service software, and dealing with customer messages from our support email and social media.
• Responding to social media messages on our social media adverts.
• Dealing with issues associated with customer orders, such as organising returns and replacements.
• Learning about our products and going above and beyond to understand the business, our customers and plant care- very important
• Following up with customers encouraging them to write a review
• Taking new orders from our wholesale customers (plant shops across the UK that sell our products), onboarding new Customers, and reaching out to potential new wholesale customers.
• Performing company admin
• There is potential to assist with marketing.

We request that you have:

• A good understanding of UK geography, lifestyle and culture
• Good customer service skills – confident in dealing with customers on a regular basis, and dealing with issues.
• Ideally experience working with a UK business in the past – if yes, please explain.
• Good time management
• Good communication skills
• Fast learner
• Digitally competent – excel/word/experience working with Shared Drives/folders

Benefits:

• Salary of €300 a month, for this part time role doing half days.
• Freelance role + 3 complimentary days off (25th-26th of December & 1st of January off)
