About the job:

We are seeking a talented and versatile professional who can blend creative design skills with technical proficiency in WordPress development. As a UX-UI Designer and WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a visually engaging and user-friendly website that aligns with our brand and meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. User Experience (UX) Design: Conduct user research, create user personas, and design wireframes and user flows to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.
2. User Interface (UI) Design: Design user interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing, responsive, and align with the brand’s visual identity.
3. Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes and mockups to demonstrate design concepts and interactions.
4. Bug Identification and Documentation: Thoroughly document and prioritize identified bugs, including descriptions, replication steps, and potential impact on user experience and functionality.
5. Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Develop and implement solutions to rectify the identified bugs and technical issues in the WordPress structure, ensuring that the website functions smoothly and efficiently.
6. WordPress Customization: Customize the WordPress platform as needed to address specific bugs and optimize the website’s performance, user experience, and functionality.
7. Plugin and Theme Management: Manage and update WordPress plugins and themes, making necessary adjustments to mitigate any conflicts or issues caused by updates.
8. Regular Updates: Ensure the website’s core WordPress installation, plugins, and themes are regularly updated to the latest versions to prevent potential bugs and security issues.
9. Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement ongoing monitoring and maintenance procedures to catch and address new bugs as they arise and prevent potential issues.
10. Visual Assets: Create graphics, icons, and other visual elements that enhance the website’s design and user experience.
11. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure that the design is seamlessly integrated into the WordPress platform.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Proven experience in UX and UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
3. In-depth knowledge and experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, debugging, and optimization.
4. Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to modify and enhance the WordPress structure and address bugs effectively.
5. Understanding of database systems, such as MySQL, to work with WordPress databases and resolve data-related issues.
6. Knowledge of web standards and techniques such as Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Compatibility: to ensure that the website functions consistently across different browsers and devices.
7. SEO and performance optimization skills for WordPress websites.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
