We are looking for a Payment Scheme Compliance Analyst to join our team in PRISHTINA.

General description of the position:

The Payment Scheme Compliance Analyst is responsible to analyze the announcements, changes, and mandates of Card Payment Schemes, with main focus on Visa and MasterCard, but additional attention also on UPI and AmEx. He/she is responsible to follow up the needed actions on QPC side in order to comply with the announcements, in cooperation with responsible system specialists.

What your key responsibilities will be:

  • Periodically checking for the latest MasterCard Announcements and Visa Business News, as well as UPI and AmEx updates
  • Analyzing the announcements and identifying the ones that are relevant for QPC and/or its clients
  • Identifying the responsible technicians and following up with them on the actions needed to comply with the announcements
  • Informing Customer Support Team and following up with them the communication of applicable announcements towards clients
  • Following up with Customer Implementation Team, the implementation of announcements with clients
  • Escalating to Software provider and following up the required actions with them
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and experience we expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology or equivalent discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in banking/payments sector, or IT.
  • Understanding of Card Payment Scheme technologies.
  • Understanding of IT principles.
  • To be familiar with ticketing systems

  • Fluency in English language, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner.
  • A self-started, well organized and motivated.
  • Ability to establish priorities.
  • Ability to follow-up and ensure timelines are respected.

  • Ability to apply rule sets to complex information, using logic, analytical techniques and deductive reasoning.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
