Junior Tax Consultant

Who are we looking for:

Junior Consultant within our Tax Department, which includes accounting, bookkeeping and payroll for external clients, we are looking for students from the economic field with interest in accounting and taxes.

You will be working either as a GES Consultant or as a BPS Consultant:

A GES junior consultant applies their technical knowledge and/or experience in tax compliance, compensation, global equity, and employment tax engagements to identify and consult on tax issues. They participate in expatriate tax, foreign national tax returns, mobility program support, global compensation review, global pensions, and payroll.

On the other hand, a BPS junior accountant fulfils an integral transactional and reporting function in Deloitte’s Business Process Solutions (“BPS”). This role touches all aspects of finance function including tax compliance, documentation of process improvements and other special projects as needed.

Requirements:

Good communication skills with service-oriented approach to clients and colleagues and an ability to meet tight deadlines while applying high standards.

We expect you to have very good knowledge of MS Excel and willingness to learn how to work (or even experience) in specific accounting programs like SAP and Navision.

Good command of English, written and spoken is required. As well as the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, proactivity, and high attention to detail. You will also need strong analytical skills to be able to perform your tasks well.

We are looking for graduated students of the economics studies, preferably with student rights for at least for the next 2 months.

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Consultant, you will be in charge for:

• Posting of transactions to general ledger (incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements, travel expenses, etc.)
• Cost calculations (travel orders, cash registers, and other costs)
• Preparation of VAT and other tax reports
• Salary calculations and salary task processing and personal income tax calculation and processing
• Preparation of various reports, e.g., management reporting, statistical reports
• Administrative work
