Junior Bookkeeping Representative

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Calculates, posts, and manages accounting figures and financial records
• Follows up with failed payments and ensures that receivables are collected promptly and always keeps track of unpaid students
• Records receipts and makes bank deposit
• Check and answers accounting emails on daily basis and makes sure all issues are addressed
• Works with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Reports daily/weekly/monthly to Accounting/Finance Head of Department as requested
• Uses all communication channels: cell phone, email, WhatsApp, etc;
• Continuously audits previous payments to see if any payment was missed
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends and gives recommendations for better accounting/bookkeeping practices
• Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English Language
• Last year of studies / finished studies in Finance / Accounting
• Excellent knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to build long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients
• Analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
• Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative
