Events Delegate Project Manager

teiss is an online and live event community of C-Suite decision makers who are responsible for setting and achieving organisational goals, and senior IT and security professionals who are tasked with protecting their organisations from digital risks.

teiss brings this community together online and face-to-face to learn from experts and from each other, to share best practice and stay up-to-date, and to do business with security vendors who support this community.

We are searching for a delegate project manager to join our events team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Inform and approach potential delegates and clients by telephone and email with the aim of registering them to attend our events
• Manage and filter the campaign list tailored to each event
• Responsible for ensuring that the delegate/attendee requirements set by our event sponsors are successfully met
• Handle any delegate questions or queries
• Update the CRM daily and keep up to date
• Report to the Team Leader and discuss weekly targets

Required skills and personal qualities:

• Comfortable making cold calls
• Excellent English language skills
• Good IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages/Microsoft Office
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• A professional manner and the confidence to communicate effectively
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
• Problem-solving skills and project management ability
