ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Key tasks and responsibilities :

• Assembles, installs, tests and repairs the electric network of TM and TU lines 35kV, 10(20), 6 kV and 0.4 kV, NS 35/10 kV and NS 10(20)/0.4 kV), equipment, apparatus, materials;
• Determines faults in the distribution network, installations and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to find the cause of the fault and to avoid the fault;
• Inspects the electrical network, facilities, equipment and other elements of the system to identify risks, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, in compliance with the network code;
• Operates with medium voltage equipment, such as: power switches, separators, transformers, etc.;
• Tests the elements of the system, through suitable test equipment for safety according to the instructions; Installs, tests and repairs MV and TU energy cables;
• Uses handheld device (HHU), technology and/or other similar equipment as trained;
• Controls the lack of energy by detectors designed for each level of voltage, grounding and workplace security, the use of the necessary labels;
• Always uses safety equipment at work without damaging the environment and without reducing safety at work;
• Performs other duties delegated by the Leader.

Requirements and qualifications :

• Minimum technical high school, Electrical Installer or Electro-Energy;
• Minimum 1 years of work experience, in the field of Energy or similar field;
• Necessary driving category B, while category C is preferable;
• Have basic knowledge of the MS Office package;
• To communicate fluently in the Albanian language;
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail person;
• Collaborator and supporter in the daily affairs of the department.
