ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Key tasks and responsibilities :

• Performs the necessary operations in accordance with the standard operating procedures with high-voltage equipment such as: power switches, separators, as well as observes the operation and condition of installations in NS, such as: TRs, switches, separators, busbars;
• Cooperates with the dispatch center for the completed works and tasks for cases related to each level of the distribution network;
• Communicates with outsiders, represents the company to customers and other companies;
• Provides assistance during emergencies, such as: earthquakes, floods, storms, terrorist acts, etc.;
• Use appropriate information and individual judgment to determine whether repairs, work, inspections, tests or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards;
• Draws up daily and monthly plans based on specific goals and priorities for planned works;
• Updates network data, establishments, documentation, etc.;
• Analyzes reports – and material implemented by teams, reviews information to assess problems to minimize – breakdowns and their duration;
• Uses the SCADA system and Kosovanet and coordinates the teams in relation to the smooth running of the electrical energy system in the distribution network of TM and TU;
• Coordinates and supports the network and maintenance teams in the Distribution System at the level of TM and TU;
• Plans, organizes, coordinates and network works in the District and responsible for the operation of the distribution network;
• Prepare schemes or carry out projects to determine the location of the breakdown or defect in the distribution network or facilities;
• Performs other duties delegated by the Leader.

Requirements and qualifications :

• University degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, with expertise in the field of Energy or similar field;
• To communicate fluently in the Albanian language, while the English language is an advantage;
• Strong team leadership and coordination skills;
• Have excellent self-organization skills, be able to prioritize effectively while working in a pressure environment;
• To be able to develop strategies that positively affect daily work operations;
• Advanced level knowledge of the MS Office package;
• Necessary driving category B.
